This competition is now in it’s eighth year! (despite covid messing with 2020 and 2021!) Celebrating and rewarding local performers competing for the new title – ‘Star of the Midlands’ and a first prize of £200! 2nd place £100, 3rd place £50.

The competition will be judged by 3 of the most highly experienced and knowledgeable names in the UK burlesque and cabaret scene:
Anna Fur Laxis (also performing)
Abigail Collins (also hosting)
Neil Kendall (also drinking prosecco)
and YOU THE AUDIENCE are the fourth judge!! You will all be given a voting token when you arrive and also the opportunity to buy more at any point throughout the evening. Use your tokens wisely!! The 5 competitors with the most amount of tokens get an extra 1 to 5 points added to the judges scores accordingly. ALL THE MONEY FROM TOKENS SALES GOES TO CHARITY!! and again YOU GET TO CHOOSE THE CHARITY! Just post your chosen charity on the event wall and one will be picked out of a hat at the show
